The art recycling center is situated in the old presbytery of Montpellier, in the Petite-Nation Valley situated in the Papineau Municipality County.

Wild Boar Festival

An out of the ordinary event is gearing up for August 6th with the Wild Boar Festival. Come meet Emile, the pet boar with his owner Benoit Voghell. Join in the action with the boar catching rodeo, and watch hundreds of these animals up close in their natural habitat. Street performers, bonfires, face painting for the kids, and more, sure to make this event a wild success. Hungry? Enjoy tender wild boar meat on the grill with hamburgers or a traditional fire-pit mechoui!

Musiqu'en Nous

Musiqu’en Nous is much more than a festival, it’s a cultural gathering in the center of the Petite-Nation, La Lièvre area. Between Montreal and Ottawa/Gatineau, you will discover new musics directory under a big top established at the HI-Petite-Nation Youth Hostel in St-André-Avellin. Also, enjoy more intimate shows but still festive which will be presented at the P'tit Café of the hostel. Being on site, take the opportunity to discover the area which has a lot to be discovered. Musiqu’en Nous presents its 18th edition from August 10 to September 3, 2011.
